April wrap up! We took a crazy bus ride out to trek in the Himalayas, had lucky flight/bus/ferry connections to the Thai Island of Koh Tao, got PADI scuba certifications and spent a ton of time snorkeling! All of that ended up costing a bit more than a typical month in Asia, but we got a ton out of it!
What did we spend in April?
Category | Spending |
---|---|
Misc. bills and insurance | $184 |
Flights | $438 |
Local Transportation | $169 |
Food | $893 |
Lodging | $577 |
Healthcare | $119 |
Scuba Certifications | $555 |
Activities | $306 |
Total | $3,241 |
So the final tally comes out to: $108 /day
Food prices while Himalayan trekking and in Koh Tao were higher than expected and scuba diving isn’t cheap. Totally worth it though!
